Spirit Analysis

Capella Innovation inc. is able to provide analytical services to distillers. This includes the alcohol content by volume, diacetyl, methanol, acetaldehyde and more. Our mission is to support the production of consistent, high quality products by providing analytical services coupled with technical assistance to growers and producers. The analyses are performed using approved methods (AOAC) that meet LCBO requirements for exportation. We are an organization created to bring technical uniformity to the spirit industry using chemistry, microbiology and analytical control methods.

The Anton-Parr Alcolyzer ME allows us to provide you with accurate alcohol content (35% v/v to 65 % v/v ± 0.03) measurements. This can be done for whisky, cognac, brandy, vodka, gin, tequila or rum.

You can provide us with either pre-filtered samples, package products samples or stored products samples and this way monitor the quality of your spirit throughout the whole process of fabrication and aging.
